As a mother of a family of 4, I’ve had a lot of time to study the Internet. But I also have to use my laptop and my Windows screen to study the internet, I don’t have a laptop to go to the gym, my Windows screen to read the newspaper, and my Windows computer to do my homework.
I know my computer is slow and I know my screen is slow, but I have no idea why. And yet the fact is, my computer and my screen are the same thing.
It’s a Windows issue, not a Mac one. Windows 8.1 is being held back by a new Windows 8.1 application called “Windows 8.1 Slow Internet” (or W8.1SLiA for short). It basically causes your computer to slow down when loading pages. Of course, this is not as bad as the slow response times of the web browser or the flash plug-in, but the difference is noticeable nonetheless.

W8.1SLiA is a software update that’s supposed to fix the issue, but I don’t see how it did anything. I downloaded the update and went to my Windows 8.1 settings. I don’t see the “Update” button, so I went to “Restore”. Nope, nothing there.
You need to go to “Network & Internet” in your Control Panel, under the tab “Manage Connections.” There you need to turn on the “Windows Internet Connection Sharing” feature. Now, when you go back to the Internet, you should now be able to download the W8.1SLiA update from your PC.
I downloaded the update and it downloaded, then I restarted my PC and I was able to download and install it. However, I did not see the Update button in my Control Panel. This is probably due to it being a slow internet connection and I may have downloaded the update by accident.
I didn’t get the update. I was about to start downloading the W8.1SLiA update when I was about to do my second task. The W8.1SLiA is a really great, fun game, but it’s very difficult to use, and it’s hard to make a connection when you press the Update button.
I think W8.1SLiA is really a great game, but I could have written that. The problem is the update button is not easy to use for people who don’t do Windows updates. I think it’s easier to go to the settings and install the Windows Update, but I don’t know if that’s the best solution.
If you’re using Windows 8.1 you are in the clear. However, if you’re using Windows 8.1 Update, you should make sure to download the W8.1SLiA update before you update Windows. Windows 8.1 Update is the first Windows update that is mandatory for Windows 8.1 users. The Windows 8.1 Update is not something you have to do, but you will have to update Windows.
