The internet explorer in my laptop has been annoying me for a while now and I can’t figure out why. I never use it, I just move on when I can’t figure out the problem. So today, I decided to take a look at it.

It is very slow, has a poor security model and doesn’t make it possible to run other programs on your computer. That’s probably enough to get most people to switch to something else. The reality is that if you are going to use IE, you should at least be able to do so without paying for it.
