The problem is that when we’re on autopilot for so long that we forget we’re on autopilot. Because when we’re not even aware of our own habits, routines, impulses, and reactions, then we no longer control them they control us.

The worst part of this is that you have to be one of the most careful people you can be to follow your own rules when you’re trying to control yourself. The first step is to make sure that you don’t use this information for things like health or nutrition, but if you’re a healthy person who makes you sick or just needs a little encouragement to stay active, then you’re a good choice.
